A three-week yoga journey

Injury Insight Pathway

Where injury becomes a guide for wiser practice.

Seven classes exploring the profound impact a physical injury has on our mind state — and the role of the five kleshas within it. Go at your own pace, with lifetime access.

Yoga Sutra I.2

“Yogaś citta-vṛtti-nirodhaḥ — yoga is the cessation of the movements of consciousness.”

Yoga is not only the physical postures. We work with the body in the postures to still the mind. When we are navigating an injury our practice may look very different - and a practice can even be Savasana.

This pathway is for you if…

An injury has changed your practice and you're unsure how to meet it.

You notice thoughts like “my body is failing me” or “I've lost all my progress.”

You want to understand the difference between pain and the suffering we add to it.

You’d like a practice built on kindness and intelligence rather than pushing through.

You're curious about the kleshas and how they live in your own experience.

Inside the seven classes

Each class breaks down one klesha, then looks at how it relates specifically to injury. A guided self-inquiry follows, and a suggested practice focus shows you how to soften that klesha in your practice.

How to use the course, what the kleshas are, and why yoga is far more than the physical postures.

Our relationship to ego, identity and the version of ourselves we thought we would always be.

WEEK 3

7

Integration & Closing

Weaving the five kleshas into an ongoing practice that listens rather than pushes.

A shift in questioning

The circumstances may not change. The relationship does.

“Why is this happening to me?”

→

“What is true right now?”

"How quickly can I fix this?”

→

“What is being asked of me?”

“How do I get back to normal?”

→

"How can I respond rather than react?"

“I'll be happy when I can do that pose again.”

→

“What is there to receive right now?”

“How do I get rid of this injury?”

→

“How can I meet this wisely?”

A note from LISA

“Each of my injuries has been a doorway into greater understanding of my body, my mind, and of the poses themselves. All of them happened off my mat — mountain biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, trail running, car accidents. And it has been yoga that brought my body back towards balance.”

Questions, gently answered

How long do I have access?

Lifetime access. Pause, take notes, rewatch, and take as much time as you need between the videos. There is no rush.

Do I need to be able to do strong poses?

No. Choose a pose that is accessible to you right now — active, supported, or even Savasana. Ahimsa, minimizing harm, is always the guide.

Is there anything I should do first?

The Injury Insight Reset course is a lovely foundation — three short videos on relating to injury through Ahimsa. It's recommended, not required.

What do I receive with each class?

A teaching video, a guided self-inquiry, and a practice focus — with PDFs for the self-inquiry questions and practice focus.

Let the injury become the teacher

Sometimes we do not arrive at wisdom despite our limitations.

Sometimes we arrive there through them.
